It’s been a while since I showcased some of my design work. In the past few months, for my Graphic Design (for illustrators) class we were given a few cool projects to do. Here are a selected cream of the crop:
Expressive Typography
Using only type, expression the meaning of a word. I’m a bit of a biology geek so I just had to choose Mitosis, no questions. The other is supposed to look like a cute dinner date between a jolly couple.
Company Logo Redesign
I chose to redesign the logo for the restaurant O.Noir, a Canadian-based company that offers a dining-in-the-dark experience. They have a location in Toronto, which I’m dying to go to, despite the fear of stabbing myself or my dinner date with a fork.
Album Redesign
Massive Attack still stands as one of my favorite musical artists. I took one of the outtakes of a past photography project I did the year before, manipulated the crap out of it, and threw in a few design elements.
