I am really loving these low maintenance watercolor pencils; set-up is prime reason why I don’t paint as often as I should. Also as a side note: I’ll be uploading bigger images from now on of my works

Pineapple in my Printer
Monday, June 7th, 2010This is a series of inkjet experiments on top of some interesting textures of scrap paper I’ve accumulated over time. Seeing what happens with prints on acrylic surfaces was my main objective. Pretty neat results.
Main equipment: HP inkjet printer, pineapple paper, acrylics, pencil
Square Man acrylic painting with an inkjet overlay of an old sketchbook page.
Lineart printed on an acrylic base with some color touch-ups.
Printed an old polaroid photo over collaged papers; some pencil and paint additions on top.
A Dozen Outlines

Contour drawings of the last 5 months (give or take). It’s been raining like mad here in suburbia so I’ve cooped myself up and took on the task of scanning and restitching a dozen of these observational drawings. I’m trying to drown out the sound of a man outside cooing like a coo-coo clock.
