Oatmeal Sketches

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

White is gross. Atleast when it comes to sketchbook paper. With the exception of cheapo paper, I like to draw on tinted or warm off-white surfaces whenever I can find it in blank book form.

My sketchbook with tantalizing oatmeal pages has been poorly neglected lately in favour of my hand*book for the current contour drawings I’ve been doing. Still, here are a few drawings from months ago I’ve been meaning to post:

Finally, some new sketchbook entries. I worked briefly on a movie set this summer and saw an endless supply of fixie bikes. (Note to self: pick up gold pen)

A quick portrait of my friend Jesse during my trip to Waterloo last Halloween (we dressed up as nerds. Hawt.).

A slightly stubby pair of muscled legs, with lacy lingerie.
